| Plastic Welding School offers a range of plastic welding training courses for the beginner to the experienced plastic fabricator. Standard plastic fabrication courses including hot gas and extrusion welding of sheet as well as butt and socket fusion welding of pipe and welding of thermoplastic liners. Plastic welding training can be run at the customers facility or at our training facilities. Training can be tailored to individual company needs. Plastic Welding School offers a certification in the welding of thermoplastics, reference materials for plastic welding fabrication and plastic repairs, including Plastic tank design Software and Consulting and expert witness services. |

In 1998 Plastic Welding School found a need in the industry for a formal training program on how to weld plastics. We based our program on proven CEN and DVS plastic welding standards. In 2003 Plastic Welding School signed a licensing agreement with TWI Ltd to offer their plastic welding training courses and "CSWIP" examinations in the USA and Canada.
Administered by TWI Examinations Ltd, the CSWIP plastic welding certification scheme which conforms to the only national/international standard on approval testing of plastics welding personnel; the European standard EN 13067 CEN, European Committee for Standardization, plastic welding standards for hot gas welding, plastic extrusion welding and the welding of thermoplastic liners. The CSWIP program includes classroom work, practical welding and testing. Plastic welding professionals in the USA and Canada can now go through a well founded and proven training scheme that is recognized all over the world.
