Companies with certified plastic welders on their staff will, in most cases, win contracts over companies that do not have certified welders on their staff. In addition, companies with certified welders on their staff may be able to lower their insurance premiums when they have certified plastic welders on their staff.
Companies with certified welders will be able to better market their products world wide, opening up new markets for their products, because TWI's CSWIP certificate is recognized and accepted all over the world. Individuals can better market themselves for employment with "Certified Plastic Welder" on their resume when they apply for a job.

THE FUTURE IS IN PLASTICS:
With the increase of thermoplastics in our everyday lives and in general industry the welding of plastics for fabrication and repairs to plastics is becoming very common. Plastic fabrication shops are springing up all over the USA. Metal fabrication shops are diversifying into plastics and more and more companies are doing their own plastic repairs.
Companies are starting to fabricate their own tanks and liners for their in-house use and for resale. Every year the use of thermoplastics is increasing within the transportation and recreation industry as evident in the RV, ATV, motorcycle, automobile, truck and in farm machinery and all this plastic can be repaired with hand held plastic welding tools.
Plastic materials are rapidly changing as well as the welding methods, plastic welding tools, and test equipment. It is important that the welder be informed and able to adapt to the latest standards and technologies available. Although welding plastics looks easy, it is in fact quite complex.
Our training programs bring the welder up to date with the latest methods and techniques offered in plastic welding today making sure that the quality of the welds are the best they can be.
