| Course content: Designed to give an appreciation of the hot gas welding process. Predominantly practical and gives the basic techniques and equipment knowledge required. The practical sessions are based on welding polypropylene. Will touch base on extrusion welding at the end of the second day.

| Suitable for: Individuals with little or no knowledge of the hot gas process, for example, those working in repair and maintenance of fabrications, repair of automotive components such as bumpers, thermoplastic boat repairs and hobbyists. This course is designed to give those with no knowledge of plastics an insight into the process, the equipment available, the eventual possibilities of the process and a hands-on session to get a feel for hot gas welding. This usually results in candidates taking the next step, which is the Hot Gas course. |

Fees: -$830.00 US per student when held at Plastic Welding School facility,
everything included.
When the course is held at customers facility. -$1275.00 US per day when held at customer's facility. Plus a per student fee of $180, plus per diem of $125/day & travel at 1.25/mile & hotel.
Maximum number of students is 8. Customer pays for plastic materials used in the course. Tools used for training can be customers own tools or Plastic Welding School LLC. will provide the tools if needed. When travel time is longer then 3 hours from Plastic Welding School LLC. the customer will be required to pay $300 per day for travel time.e. |
